Image Atlases
Image Atlases typically contain image collections that can be referenced through target grid coordinates. In some instances the grid is superimposed upon the image, but in most cases, an atlas will provide the user with a coordinate search to locate image products within a certain area. Depending upon the atlas, images can be provided in various types; from raw data to finished products. Some atlases can also construct tailor-made maps from user-provided coordinates. Each atlas has its own unique qualities, which are dependent upon the mission data housed in the collection.
